The lockdown walks around the empty streets of London brought into noticeability something very intertwined with the city itself - its abundance of trash, graffiti, stickers and tags.
Behind London is a scruffy animated loop highlighting those very things behind our city. It highlights the temporality of all its contents and through its rough look highlights the very ‘trash’ it discusses.
To further the concept of this short it was distributed on QR codes taped to empty cans - just as uncertain is how long a grafitti will stay where it was tagged, the ability to see this short relies on the same trust in what it means to be a temporary rubbish in the big city.
